I'm reading an article titled "Jim Boeheim Quotes".

"When the subject came up at a press conference this season about how many minutes Michael Gbinije plays per game (he averages 37.9). Boeheim sent a clear message that his seat was dusty for a reason.

"He can have a heart attack out there. He's not coming out of the game."

Good for them especially the men's team which is a 10 seed.

And the girls move on to the NC game against UConn. Good Stuff for the lady Orange team.

I hope Stewie drops 40 on them.

Her name is Brianna Stewart 6'4", three time NCAA Player of the Year.

UCONN is graduating, Tuck, Stewart, and the starting PG....who's name just slipped from my brain.

They have 3 Freshmen, 3 Sophomores, 3 Juniors on the bench. No UCONN Women's player has played less than 100 minutes this year. One of the freshman is 6'7". They've picked up 3 of the top high school US female players this spring. The rich just keep getting richer.

As good as you may think Syracuse may be, Oregon State was the best defensive team in Division 1 this year and got beat by 29 last night against UCONN.

Something to remember. UCONN Women start practices in August. By the end of September they have 3 officiated scrimmages a week. All scrimmages are against Men's Division II, Division III and NAIA teams.

Actually the 6'7 girl is a redshirt sophomore this year.

She was the Big East Frosh of the Year at Georgetown 2 years ago. She averaged 13.9 pp and 13.4 rpg....and she could barely get on the floor with this team.

She'd probably be playing more now had she not had a hand injury that kept her out half the season. She'll be a major factor in if this team can be good enough defensively to win a title next year.

Gabby Williams and Katie Lou are the two girls on the current roster with STAR power though.

A 31 point W is a throttling....unless it's UConn. That's just par for them. :-)

Next year is your hear to get UConn.

When Nurse and Gabby are seniors, Katie Lou an experienced Junior and their new star PG is no longer a frosh in 2017-2018....forget it.
