Never even followed that event. It was such low key. But fed is playing and can run into Tommy Haas in the second round
Fed vs Haas split the first two sets and Haas is up a break serving 3-2 in the third.
Haas just won his first round match. His reward is a date with Federer in the second round!
Haas might be the only player older than Federer too. Haas still has a great grass game. Should see him in Newport next month.
Also, what could FED have learned playing such a low key event? An event with better players is a better test.
Doesn't have to be a Masters 1000, but something better than this would have given him better preparation.
Lopez and Paire in the final. Tight match with Misha but Lopez held on.
In the Netherlands, Dr Ivo beat Cilic to face Muller in the final who beat Sasha.
I don't know who Pouille is
