Silly me.. I thought the Dodgers would have some integrity and show up this weekend but I guess they knew they had no chance getting that #2 spot.

We definitely can blame the Dodgers lack of grit this weekend on the Cardinals failure of the season. I will put the blame on John Mozeliak's decision to allow the Cardinals to regress by losing key players and making Mike Leak the shiny Offseason trophy as well as the Cardinals inability to beat the Reds in a 4 game series.

With Matt Holiday coming off of the books we can expect the Cardinals to have some extra spending money. I'm just not sure this Offseason is a when the money should be spent. The potential OF market is average and old with players like Ian Desmond, Carlos Gomez and Austin Jackson being some of the better names.

What are your thoughts, wants and wishes?

I for one am happy with the Dexter Fowler signing and look forward to the Cuban outfielder Adolis Garcia.

    Where are the Cardinals fans!?!

I also like the Fowler move, but if the loud mouth fans don't knock it off trashing him for him speaking him mind, he will bolt at the earliest opportunity. Garcia was the MVP of his Cuban league if I'm not mistaken. Can't wait for the beginning of the season.

I haven't even heard the loud mouthed fans or what he said from here in AZ. Do you mind filling me in?

Can't wait either. Saw that double he jacked on my instagram. Lineup is looking sneaky dangerous.

He spoke out about Trump's travel ban. His wife is from Iran and he wants to take his family to see their family...you can click on the responses to see them better.

Dexter Fowler reacts in perfect way to fans upset about recent comments on Trump

Thinking of going to see the cards play the twins at Hammond stadium in Ft. Myers, anyone ever been there?

That was just one article I picked. He didn't really bash Trump, just mentioned he would like to take his family to see relatives. Cardinal fans blew up, unbelievable.

I like that they are talking to the Marlins about Stanton.

cardinals trade Aledmys Diaz to Toronto for minor league OF J. B. Woodman. Man what a difference a year makes. Diaz was the rookie darling in 2015, then demoted to AAA last year, now off to Canada.

Doesn't seem like a good move at all. Goodman is considered Toronto's 28th best prospect.

IMO, this isn't about what they got back for Diaz, but clearing space because DeJong, unless he falls into the Diaz black hole, is the new shortstop and Gyorko can play 3B. What I want next is a true lead off guy and a power bat. STL supposedly met with Stanton's agents a few days ago, but in reality, JD Martinez is more attainable.

    Stanton officially with the veto.

Hopefully he finds his way to the AL

Fuck Mike Stanton. Go break a leg you yankee loving son of a bitch.

I read that if this trade had fell through he would have accepted trades to the Golden State Warriors or New England Patriots.
