Whiteside is a better rebounder, defender, and it could be argued a better scorer since Adams is benefitting from having 3 scorers around him so he's feasting off that.

Whiteside doesn't have the same situation in Miami. Nothing close to RW, PG, and Melo on his roster.

I looked at all the other centers.....I'd say Adams would be fair at around the 8th best center in the NBA.

Adams is a much better defender than Whiteside. Not even close. Whiteside protects the paint a little better because of his size but overall, Adams is a much better defender. Whiteside doesn't compare to Adams when it comes to pick and roll defense.

All I know is when I watch and see what he does for the thunder the list thst i would replace him with seems to be shrinking, and a lot. He’s top 5 right now and it’s really not debatable if you watch him play night in and night out.

I forgot about Towns. Towns is better.

Whiteside definitely not better. He can't even get in the court in the 4th quarter.

Jokic is as skilled as they come, but he doesn't defend well at all. If your team needs offense, you take Jokic. If they need defense, they take Adams.
