As far as Taylor Heinicke goes. He has ability, but very little common sense on the field. There is no way he should have taken that telegraphed blitz for a sack.

He did things like that during the preseason with the Vikings. Take dumb hits and make reckless decisions.

Now if that was the against the Patriots it would have been ruled incomplete due to a blade of grass flying through the air touching the football, meaning that since the ball touched that blade of grass, in flight, they considered it on the ground hence an incomplete pass.
