Tomlin is basically Lewis as a coach IMO. Just landed in a better spot. Big difference having a legend at QB, a defense full of HOF, and the Rooney family.

Tomlin has balls though.... Very few coaches would have gone for that drive at the end of the half. He does shit like that. Marvin would never do that.

I mostly meant in his handling of players. He’s an enabler just like Marv. Who sucks at preparing and motivating his players.

Personality wise they’re opposites. Tomlin has some fire and passion. Lewis puts you to sleep.

Gio is comically underutilized. He always has been. He was clearly better than Hill the last 2 years, but could never get the chances. Oh, and Burkhead was also better than Hill..... I think that's clear now.

Totally agree. Easily the most underrated player on this Bengals team. Not remotely surprised Rex is doing well. I predicted last season he’d end up as a star for the Patriots. We can’t have nice things.
