Went with Towns, such a good centre IMO.

He's probably the last guy I'd take on this list -- and I'd probably take several guys not included on the list over him. For a center, he just doesn't play strong enough defense for me to build my team around him. Just my opinion, but that's basically the one thing you definitely need to get out of your center.

Oversight alert: I didn't see Brad Stevens as an option.

Ol' Brad could take a team of Terry Rozier, Daniel Theis and 3 guys off the street to the Eastern Conference Finals.

Giannis without question. Think Porzingas should be an option up there too. LOL at anyone who would start a franchise with Russ though.

Giannis is already really good and just has so much upside. I like Simmons too. Anthony Davis though would still be my 2nd pick. It's crazy, but he's only 24 still.

Yeah, it's hard to pick between Giannis and the Brow, but I went with Giannis. He's even younger than Davis and he can do more as a ball handler and creator from what I've seen.

Russ is an awesome player, but yeah, stuffing the stat sheet can only do so much for a franchise. He's not the most efficient player.

I really want to pick AD. I still believe in him. That franchise is just garbage. But his injury history puts me off just a bit with so much talent elsewhere. Went with Giannis

The injury history is the only thing that scares me with AD. He's the best player in basketball when he's on the court though, and still really young as well.

I would actually take AD over Giannis. AD is only a year older and has no weaknesses alrwady at 24. He can shoot from outside too.

Has to be Giannis with Simmons a somewhat distant second but I agree this could flip soon. Until Leonard comes back and shows he can be healthy he isn’t in the conversation, and I don’t believe he is anyway.

I love Embiid and Davis is great -- but I wouldn't build around a center.

I think AD is my pick. If you can get the athletic center that can play lock down defense, switch on defense, protect the rim, stretch the floor, etc, then the other pieces are easier to find.

Still sticking with Giannis as my #1 and AD as my #2. AD's injury history is the only reason he's #2.

Agree with @CitySushi .

The Brow and his petty injuries are worrisome.

He and the Freak both have one thing that the other doesn't have.

Brow can shoot, Giannis can drop dimes.

I will take the healthier guy , with the natural instinct and ability to create for others, and just hire him a great shooting coach.

* Not the one they used in Philly *
