Hearing of Amari running consistant 4.3's. DePriest being the man to ease CJ's departure. Overall defensive should be improved with more talent, depth and experience at cornerback and d-line. I'm most interested in the O-line. I saw an initial 1st grouping of LT-Leon Brown, LG-Arie K., C-Ryan K., RG-Alphonse Taylor, RT- Austin Shepherd. I'd add Cam Robinson, Grant Hill, and incoming Dominick Jackson and guess the starting 5 will come from these 8.

I seen that Lindsay is transferring. Not sure I'm happy about that, who is going to be the backup center now? He seemed to handle himself pretty well as a backup last year when Kelly got hurt.

Yeah, Lindsay leaving was a surprise. Ryan winning his job back on 2 separate occasions after 2 injuries probably solidified him as the clearcut #1. I'm thinking maybe Luatau has seen some some practice time at center, but he wasn't mentioned in a recent article I read, as only several walkons were listed as working behind Ryan so far. May have to wait for Hassenaur and Casher for reinforcements.

I think the line will be the weak link again this year. Hope I'm wrong though.

The Koundjio brothers were the weak link last year. That's why I say bench Arie's ass. I think it will be a better line though

Tony Brown is moving up. Saban called him conscientious, fast and physical. We SHO' need him at cornerback.

Well I'll be surprised if he starts at CB. If he does, I'm not sure it says good things about our secondary.

Of course, maybe he is just that good and learning that fast. But it doesn't seem like it would be an easy position to be a starter at quick.

I love seeing young guys start like this for the most part, but it generally speaks of an existing weakness(which is no surprise really given our CB situation last year).

I completely agree. Cyrus going pro will probably hurt him, he struggled really bad last year. Arie should be benched, but i'd be surprised if he was because of his experience.

If we can find a decent line, could be a special year.

Him and Humphrey's maybe starting by the end of the year. It would not surprise me at all

Here's to Nick having his best season ever. Always hold a soft spot in my heart for those nearby Prattville boys. Amari better than Julio? I think he has a strong case.
