I have trouble seeing him go more than 5 innings a lot, which I think would lessen his potential win total.

Taddy MAson, we are talking about who the Phillies didn't sign that being Lance Lynn. Jake is not exactly dumpster-diving but I was elluding to the tendency of the Phillies to let the opportunity to sign more pitching talent go in favor of dumpster-diving which they have done alot of in recent years.

21 of his first 27 starts when at least 6 innings last season.

The last three starts were him first hurting his hamstring, then him trying to come back to get into playoff shape. I'd say he's usually good for 6.

TOMMY JOSEPH HAS BEEN DESIGNATED. Off the roster and gone. I am wondering why the Phillies
did not trade him for a low level minor league player. I would guess an American league team may
pick him up as a DH for his pop.
