Is anybody going? I'm dying to see if Swoops is that much better under the new offense or is he just the best of the worse. I just can't believe he could be that much better, and yes I know our OL has sucked the past few years and that doesn't help, but holy shit! He can't hit the side of a barn with a pass from 10 feet away! I know we have the summer to go to pick a qb, but I just can't believe Swoops is starting at this point. ElTexan may be right. He may be our starting qb this fall. Unf*%ing believable.

was gonna go, but with the 7 days of rain coming, I HAD to get the yard done. So I watched it on tv.

Of course, I was very happy with Buchelle; I thought he looked exceptionally good for a guy who should still be in high school, prepping for the prom. He will be starting for Texas this year, possibly in ND game.

Defensive line is extremely thin, really going to count on some of those incoming FR to fill the gaps, at a minimum.

Donta Forman and Chris Warren are outstanding RBs, imo. They were running against a thin defense, but they did what they were supposed to do against them. 174 yards on about 15 carries or so.

You might be right. Below is a quote from Yahoo sports. It doesn't sound like Swoops had a good game. Hard to tell. Not sure how many snaps he took. I'm curious to know how the new offense looked. Sounds like Buechele had a good game with it.

    Yahoo Sports:

"Buechele completed 22 of 41 passes for 299 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions in the game while Tyrone Swoopes, who was considered the frontrunner for the starting role, completed just 4 of 16 passes for no touchdowns and two interceptions.

And this was just in one half of play after the game was called due to weather."

Didn't go because of outlook of rain. Kiddo wasn't having it.
Swoopes will still start over the fish. We've built this veer offense for Swoopes.

Sorry. But don't see anything great coming. As I stated in the other thread: Wrlcome, coaches Herman and Asplewhite.

Pretty sure I was crystal clear on a previous post. There will NEVER be a coach from Cougar High coach at Texas! Never! :D
