LSU was only up by 3 against Louisiana Tech in the second half.

Virginia Tech losing to Old Dominion and Oklahoma needing overtime to beat Army really overshadowed some less than stellar play from some of the top ranked teams. UGA included.

But LSU has wins over 2 current Top 15 teams, one convincingly. I would think that holds more weight than a close game in 4th Q vs LT.

It does. But if Oklahoma were already ahead of LSU, their games last week didn't warrant one jumping the other.

IMO, I am not disappointed with Top 7. None of them should be worse than 7th. I think Notre Dame should be above Penn State with win vs Michigan.

Penn State’s Best win is no where near that of Notre Dame and also has the ugly win over App State. But it may be sorted out this weekend, would be real interesting what happens if they both win.

It should, but LSU's negative preseason outlook is biasing the results. Including mine. I can't jump completely on board just yet. But I am liking what I see so far obviously.

I am that 1 next to LSU. Right now, they have the best resume based off of this season so far. However, next few weeks could change it a lot, even if LSU remain undefeated.
