I still don't understand Georgia being ranked, but that's just my opinion. Other than that, pretty solid.

I still think Georgia is pretty decent. Until they lose a nasty one, I will probably keep that opinion for now.

I still go back to the South Carolina game earlier in the year where SC edged Georgia by 3 points............and they had a fumble return for a TD, an interception return for a TD, and a fake punt that went for a TD.

I think Georgia is better than allowing 21 garbage points like that.........but on that day some crazy things happened. Georgia should have won that one.

I dont have UGA in my top 25 but they are close. I dont have any 2 loss teams in right now though. There are too many good 1 loss teams to have a 2 loss team ranked at this point in the year IMO.

I still don't understand how defensive and special teams touchdowns are "garbage" touchdowns.

I never got that either. I mean half the game is played on defense and special teams decides alot of games.

If you can rank teams based on whether or not they can execute a 70 yard fake punt, then there should probably be some teams who are 0-5 right now that should get some consideration.

I rank teams based on what they can do consistently............Georgia is not consistently going to give up 21 points like that. SC didn't execute any sort of a gameplan to score those 21 points..........the chips just fell into place for them.

All I'm saying is, I cannot look at those 21 blown points and make anything out of it..........because it's something that's only going to happen once in a season. Looking forward, I believe Georgia can win some games if they don't make those kind of mistakes.

This^^^^. That fake punt was flat out awesome. Gutsy call, completely owned UGA by fooling them, and then exceptional execution on a great run. Top notch football from both a coaching and playing perspective.

Georgia didn't give up those points. South Carolina went and took them. That is my point.

If you rank a team based on this, you are retarded. You rank a team based on how the TEAM played, which includeds defense and special TEAMS

So we should expect that South Carolina will score these points consistently?

It was Georgia who made the bad throw, who fumbled the ball, and who missed all tackles on that freak fake punt.

They won't do it again.

So it wasn't the South Carolina who went and got the interception, or forced the fumble?

It was SC that got the INT, who cause the fumble and picked it up and executed a well planned fake punt.
