What am I missing about Michigan State? Their secondary was awful last year and they lost the best two players (by far). Their strength was the offense, but they lost their best three skill position players. They lost their best linebacker to graduation and (after we voted) lost their #2 linebacker to injury.

To me, they look like a team with a very good OL, QB, and DL. There are huge questions anywhere else. I felt like I was overrating them when I voted them #7, so I have now idea how they ended up #3.

lol. Just wait.

And btw. "Back the b1g" is unbecoming.

What can I say, I always root for the other BigTen teams, well except for those asshat's in ann arbor. And this is the first I've heard of "Back the b1g".

It is a play off one of the most annoying terms I have ever heard. PAC network's Twitter has a "back the PAC" deal that drives me up the wall.

Fuck the rest. Except maybe the Beavs. Go Ducks!!

Didn't realize that, although it's pretty dumb. And "back the PAC"? Well I hope someone drank a 12 Pac before coming up w/ that slogan.

Only 13 more days to drink the kool-aid, nurturing dreams of unblemished seasons and epic playoff victories. Savor these last few moments of anticipation and cheer on your team in rapt delusional hope. It is as old a right as CFB itself. I'll don my orange & white checkerboard boxers the morning of the 5th and cheer on the Vols come what may this season. For now, I'll smile the dissociated smile and answer every challenge from coworker, neighbor, or son-in-law with, "Miracle season! 15 & 0! Vols win! Vols win! Vols win!"

The more life teaches you, the more you appreciate this annually recurring time before the first kick-off of the season.

I suggest you don the maize & blue, join a gathering of Angry Weasel fans, and sing the fight song until "other people" start throwing things at you. It'll feel good and cost you nothing.

They have arguably the best O-line and D-line in the country, along with an NFL QB. That alone is a huge bonus. They've never had an issue replacing a RB, so they'll be fine there.

They have 5-6 potential first and second rounders on the roster. Plus Dantonio is a great coach.

I had them at #4 I believe.

I don't see how either one of those teams can think they have that game in the bag.

I don't think by any means it is in the bag.

Just very confident UO can beat MSU again.

They lost some, UO lost MM. But I still like UO. I can't get past season's curb stomping at Autzen out of my head.

We will see how it goes in EL. I say UO by 10

I've always been confident in my team's chances at this time of the year...am probably a little more confident than usual this year...we'll see...am really looking forward to game #1, against an excellent W. Michigan Broncos team, at their house in Kalamazoo...win there, show well and leave healthy? the confidence level for a retributive humbling of visiting Oregon skyrockets.
