5-1 victory over Anaheim, and dominant for long stretches. That's what they should do against bad teams like Anaheim.

Didn't get to see this game live, but after having watched the condensed replay all I have to say is that Letang should be on the short list for a Norris. He is dominant.

I don't think there is any other player on the Pens besides Sid that they can really afford to lose for any length of time and still hope to remain competitive. Letang takes over hockey games.

Lets also realize that Anaheim was on the back end of a back to back...like the Pens will be tonight against the Kings

Also, despite scoring 5 goals, I think Letang had the only multi-point game on the team last night. A really great team performance.

Probably just wanted to bunch an extra consecutive day off in there for Fleury given how much work he had been getting while Murray was hurt.

Rust almost undressed the Kings' defense. Best chance so far, though, was Hornqvist in alone. Good save to keep the Pens off the board.

Letang and Sid were pretty good last night. The rest of them seemed a step slow, but it's to be expected on a back to back 3 time zones away. 3 of 4 points is acceptable. Now it's on to SCF rematch part two.

Kessel seemed to have his legs, too, but everything was just off for him. That deflection that went off the crossbar comes to mind as an obvious example, but in general it seemed like everything he tried to do went just wrong enough to not work.

If they stay healthy they might be scary good this year when that rust wears off.
