Finally I think we are all happy about this... "While some people would prefer Notre Dame head coach Brian Kelly to be the one getting the axe, that is not the case for today. Special teams coordinator and tight ends coach Scott Booker has been relieved of his duties as of Monday night."

Kelly's had all the rope and all the excuses and then some. Playoffs or it's your ass should be the mandate. Call it unrealistic after a 4-8 season, I don't care. He's lost all goodwill.

I think they have to be in the playoffs or playing in one of the other big 6 bowl games for him to keep his job, of course I could be wrong.

Seriously, this team has the talent to compete and their schedule is favorable. It is the coaching alone that is the problem. Whoever gets the coordinator jobs has more than enough talent and experience to do well against the 2017 schedule.
