Always good to try to stay ahead of everyone on these guys.

These guys win leagues a lot of the time as they're so valuable slotting into RP spot.

Likely 2014 guys:

Gausman (yes I list him first on purpose lol)
Cingrani
C.Martinez

Sleepers:
Smyley
Torres
Pineda

I'm sure there's more and as Sept comes, the list will grow.
Any others you can think of let us know.
For guys selling at trade deadlines, these can be targets before their value skyrockets with the dual eligibility.

Just a few to add on for now
Jeanmar Gomez
Josh Collmenter - if he returns to the starting role.
Jerome Williams
Hector Santiago
Kris Medlen - He could go to the pen depending on what happens with Beachy
Brandon Beachy - see Medlen

I'm shocked with the slew of injuries the Dbacks have had and how well Collmenter has pitched that there is no talk of him returning to the starting role.....I guess they view his role as too valuable as the long man out of the pen. Dbacks kick ass in long extra inning games (sadly they have already had a ton of) and it's directly because of Collmenter being an "ace" "starting" pitcher to eat 4-5 innings in those marathon games.....

I'm gonna throw out a little love for Eovaldi here.

Also, what will comprise the Mariners' pitching staff: Ramirez, Walker and Hultzen. Put those guys in Seattle along with King Felix and Iwakuma, that's not too shabby. If the Mariners don't screw it up.

LOL.....I was thinking......"Hmmm, that's interesting, but what does it have to do with the topic"....;)

Oh, and for your previous post......which of these words does not belong with the others? "Mariners" "not" "screw" "up"

Philabuster, what about Rosenthal? Isn't he supposed to become a starter down the road?

I was tempted to include Rosenthal.
I just think he's less likely due to the great success he's been in the 8th. Maybe I'm wrong.
The fact they sent CMart back down to build up innings leans me that way. They've got an embarrassment of riches really.
I think he'd make a great starter if he gets the opportunity. If I was betting, I'd say not in 2014.

I can see Rosenthal being a dynamite closer in the future.

As for the thread... hmm,

Carlos Villanueva... quality arm in deeper leagues.
And possibly any of the TB young guns could be moved into the pen in September?

Keep an eye on Dustin McGowan. Never know if he gets another shot, but he can be a dandy if he were to ever stay healthy.
