100% agreed and I'd find it hard to believe that there's a Sox fan out there who doesn't feel the need to land an experienced starter in this offseason, whether it would be thru free agency or trade. I'd prefer the former of the two, but we simply have to get another proven starter. Far and away priority one.Without a bona fide 3rd starter we were always going to be at a disadvantage in a playoff series. And since our bats were extremely on/off...that's not a good combination. Probable we would have gotten bounced...still hurts we didn't get the chance to see it though, especially when the A's got pretty clobbered in their losses in the series (5, 3, 5 run losses)...Feels very 2018 Bearsish where everyone knew we weren't going all the way, but it would have been nice to see that 2nd round game after a winnable first round.
