So your brother in law heard it from a guy who heard it from a guy who heard it from some coach and yet the only place I can find this theory is on one Husky fan blog and only there. I'd be more inclined to think you read it there too.

I find it hard to believe a coach is out bitching to physical therapists about a kid who's not even on campus yet and accusing another school of cheating and no story anywhere. I also find it hard to believe a University would have a commit who they have known for the whole process who's parents were going to get deported and they couldn't help him at all. But another school did and no one has made an article about it. Maybe Washington doesn't have good lawyers. Or maybe he likes USC better .

On a positive note, Petersen is learning that the PAC is a lot more cut throat than the conference he just left. He's still learning the ropes.

That wasn't why he ended up at SC. His parents were about to get deported back to Bananaland and one of the SC boosters gave his brother who happens to live in LA btw, a call and that was that.

Probably going to regret taking the time to explain this, but here goes.

Despite geography being a big part of things, "Regions" are more than just geography. Conferences are kind of a "region" in the college football scape.

In order to balance the regions we need to avoid deportations to Bananaland. Banana land is a HUGE rival of USC. And a very good gauge when comparing conference strength. I don't know why SC doesn't play Bananaland in November. Must be that damn 9 game conference schedule thing. Clearly Bananaland would be great for SOS

So he couldn't get OK'd to enroll at USC because of credits so he needed more time at JC but no worries at Oklahoma?

Can you say it was a flip if he wasn't qualified to attend USC?

Well he was committed to USC knowing that he had to attend junior college to get accepted to enroll at USC and now goes to Oklahoma not needing to get more credits so its sorta a flip
