He's been all the buzz for weeks up here and there are several guys with behind the scenes access that have made huge bets he ends up at UW. Not that I'm wishing for that, but that's what they have been talking about for some time.

Yes, there are two 4* kids coming in, but Browning will be back for his senior season and the thought Eason would be fighting against two RS freshmen for the start in '19 gives some edge to him with the experience he already has.

I'm not so sure he would beat two RS freshmen though.

He lost his job to a true freshman this season.

He might end up there, but from what I've seen, the dude just ain't that good, especially in a pro style offense.

Not every kid clicks in their true freshman year so I'm not sure he's entirely a write off. Fromm is a major exception to the rule.

Eason might be a bust, but he also might yet click. He will have had two full years off before he makes his next start if he transfers, but that's also two more years of film study and workouts with college coaches and staff.

There's no guarantee either of our incoming QB's makes the jump either. More highly touted QB's fail than succeed. That's a fact of college football. Petersen will always take as many options as he can at that position.

I honestly don't know what ties he has to UW or how close he was to Petersen during his recruiting window. The so-called experts seem to believe he's got enough ties to go for it here anyway.

We need all the help we can get at QB. Shea Patterson transferred to UM, but until I see him play, I will take any and all comers. That’s how bad our QB position has been.
