What the hell is college football? Why don't you hayseeds talk about soccer more????

Because soccer is for those that don't have the physical skills or mental aptitude to play football. The exception would be women's soccer. Women play the sport much better than men.

If I had a kid and he was a great athlete, I would push him to any sport but football. The toll it takes on your body and your brain isn't worth it if you have the ability to go pro in another sport.

I guess if I could push my kid into any sport and I would be assured he would be an elite player, I'd choose poker. He wouldn't risk getting injured (except for pissed off losers he wiped out financially) and he could play until he was an old man. Golf would be a good second choice although I hate the game. And NASCAR would be a third choice because that's a sport that pays good money and you can be successful into your 40's.

OK
I periodically click on the site to see if it's up, and it looks like CFB Data Warehouse is trying to reconstitute itself.
It brings up the site but doesn't seem complete.

Good news.
I'll check back in a couple more weeks to see if they have it running 100%

Yeah
That sucks. It wasn't hard to add in 1 missing year, but now there's 2 missing years.
I think the 2 were connected and maybe they will both be up and running soon.

Stassen is back up and running with numbers through 2017 looks like.
CFB Data Warehouse can't be far behind, I hope.
Seems to have an Alabama glitch for some reason.

You have to be careful when using Stassen's data. He follows the NCAA guidelines and vacates win from teams records. E.g.,
I-A Winning Percentage 1992-2017

The url above lists OSU as having played 321 games and FSU as having played 323 games. In fact OSU played 333 games but the NCAA vacated 12 of their wins, and FSU played 335 games but the NCAA also vacated 12 of their wins
vacated.

I can live with that.
Good thing to know though.

Jesus Christ.

I just looked again, and here it is.
A little incomplete in places though.

Has a brand new look to it.

It looks like it's the same data (where the site ended) and just uploaded to a new looking site. For instance, if you look at Michigan's games against Michigan State, the last one listed is 2015. And most records only go to 2016.

I used to love this site because you could see every opponent your team played, the scores and the records nicely formatted in a grid. Really hope they'll update the site at some point with new data.

Any preseason magazines coming out soon? I need my fix. I keep seeing the 23rd/24th. I need sooner.
