And Collins is a black hole at the moment since I doubt seriously if they will know if he is the baby daddy by 4:00 PM tomorrow. To much Drama around him to burn a second rounder at the moment. He could actually slide out of day two or the draft all together.

I still think we end up with 8 players out of this draft.

Hmmm . . . interesting. I agree about using a sixth or seventh rounder on him. Very little risk there. Not sure what to make of all the criminal stuff with Collins. The fact that he's not gone on record stating that he's got nothing to do with her death and lawyering up sticks a bit in my craw.

That is something he clearly needs to do. Right now he is untouchable, for all the league knows the dude may have a body count second to Robert Durst. So until it's resolved it's crazy for a team to spend a pick on him.

No supplemental Draft for Collins...Per NFL rules, no Draft elgible player can forgo the the draft he is egible for to go into supplemental draft...It is part of the CBA.....

Basically so players that are draftable, but not fully recovered from injury...so they cant do that.....would have to be drafted....would set a bad presidence, and like I said.....Is against the rules

Even with this issue popping up the day before the draft, I find it hard to think he wont get drafted at all. I think he comes off the board today.

If Collins doesnt get drafted today, I see him sitting out the year. He stands to loose too much guaranteed money. Getting drafted in 3rd round this year verse getting drafted top 15 next years will cost millions. Not sure I would take the risk of drafting him at 38, but could pay off big time, or bite us big time. Hate to waste a pick on someone headed to jail or would will sit out the year.

If it were just the lawyering up itself, I don't have a problem with that. It's the fact that he did that and has failed to issue a categorical denial of any involvement that's an issue.

And many people aren't suspects at the beginning of an investigation, but end up as a defendant later on. I hope he isn't for his own sake.
