Biggest issue with JV is him trying to come back too quick and re-injure whatever was wrong. He is also likely to be on a pitch count early in the year and he might not take that well.

With this injury JV may just get a later start to spring training. It could work out that he is fresher later in the season. JV nows what he will have to do to get ready. If JV looked even slightly questionable the Tigers go all in on Santana or Tanaka.

well can't be too serious. He was spotted with kate Upton at the Philly hockey game. Maybe she's gonna help him with the rehab of the core muscle he injured.

Should be well rested and fired up going into 2015. I don't expect triple digits but a 96-97 mph fastball with good location, along with an unsuspecting slider, nasty curve and effective change-up will suffice.
