One of the better games of the day because the Power 5 slates are a heaping pile of garbage

SMU with a strong start, up 10-0

Memphis scored a touchdown, rather easily...somehow the refs called it down at the one, but the touchdown cannons fired anyways....to make matters worse instead of giving them time to review it Memphis did a hurry up and got stuffed

all was good though, they finally got a touchdown on 4th and goal

A Memphis receiver had a pass thrown to him, before he had control he almost tossed it forward

he got called for an illegal forward pass

but when given a closer look it looked like he tried to tuck the ball and missed his other hand
