No Swofford of the ACC struck the worst deal possible and completely screwed his schools through stupidity.

The PAC is holding onto 100% ownership of their network and if they put it out to market their payout would soar.

It has zero to do with the Big 12's tier 3 media rights.

Yeah, Klatt is still fucked up from the concussion he received in the Big 12 CCG back in '05 when we curbstomped CU 70-3 and knocked his ass out. Nebraska did not want to share revenue equally b/c they were the big dog in all of CFB at the time of the Big 12 merger. They got what they wanted. And he is sorely mistaken about the Big 8 saving the Texas schools, that merger saved both conferences. The Big 8's ratings were dogshit at the time as Nebraska was the only relevant team. Once the Sooners were slammed with sanctions, that was the end.

If this conference didn't have Texas and Oklahoma it would die in 1 week. Losing Texas A&M and Nebraska hurt the conference tremendously but OU and UT are irreplaceable. I'm looking forward to the day when Texas and Oklahoma need actual guard-lions at the door to keep the Pac-12 commissioner and the Pac-12 Presidents from kidnapping our Athletic Directors. It can't happen soon enough.
