Honestly not sure if he will. I mean he hasn't performed so far (yes too early I know). Wouldn't Teheran have more upside than Gordon?

Teheran is a little over-rated... He does have trouble vs lefties... and he clearly will have trouble getting wins as he is on a terrible team... But any pitcher in the NL east is a good bet, since maybe the Mets have the best offense...

Yes this is true, lefties do seem to see the ball decently well with him... Colon is only one more year left in the tank I would think but I don't think I'm winning this league this year... Though Teheran could be a "keeper" and he was one of mine

depending on the number of keepers you keep, he is a very low end keeper... it doesn't help you to hold onto a low end keeper just because he is a keeper....

You really need to start rebuilding. Replacing one vet for another is not going to help you at all. By entering the draft with the mindset that you could compete this season, you have added another year onto the process. Neither Teheran or Gordon are ever going to be keeper caliber players, and at the moment, the only good ones you have are Degrom and an aging Encarnacion.

If I were you, I would be dealing every asset I had to acquire young talent (25 and under) who might be able to help your team down the road. Scwarber is still a guy to keep, because he is your second best long term keeper.
