Dbacks select LHP T.J. McFarland from the Triple-A Reno Aces and transfer RHP Shelby Miller to the 60-day DL.

Shelby Miller has strained tendon, UCL tear

D-backs right-hander Shelby Miller has been diagnosed with a strained flexor tendon and a partial tear of his ulnar collateral ligament.

Miller is evaluating his options, which include things like stem cell treatment, platelet rich plasma therapy and Tommy John surgery.

Doesn't seem like anyone cares..

But in our defense, he was the weakest link

Shelby's velocity was as high as ive ever seen it before he got injured. In the SD start he was regularly 95-97 and even touched 99 a few times. I really thought he was going to have a comeback of sorts. Unfortunate to say the least.
