The kid is having a great combine. He looked like he was playing at a different speed in college than everyone else, so I knew he was fast, but wow that is crazy fast for a LB.

I was just thinking the same thing after reading about that 40 time. This kid was a beast at UCF!!

While he is likely to climb the board now I don’t know about him at 32. If we have a second rounder that’s a slam dunk.

Of course...if Howie was to take him at 32 I would trust it if it felt like a reach, as well. Long time until May, but the kid who had to wait forever for a Combine invite is making the most of it.

His instincts and quickness on the field are top notch ... the Combine just cemented his athleticism. I'd love to have him on the Birds ... wonder if he'd be allowed to have a robotic addition on the field? I think he's dynamite regardless.

I'm not sure the INT is really an issue at safety, I've seen them drop easy INT all the time. Shaquem may be too small at LB but I think he is perfect for Jenkins roll. I watched the last 3 UCF games this year and dude was ballin seriously. I was thinking 3rd round but sounds like the combine has improved his draft position .

Oh, I'm sure he will be a late 1st or 2nd round pick now. He can play, there's no doubt. I'd still keep him @ LB.

He was considered a special teamer and mid to late round pick a few weeks ago. I still think he probably lasts until the 3rd or fourth round due to missing a hand.

Im thinking he flys up the board to second round now (stretch to late 1st possible) and then that calms down until draft time. Not sure he makes it to the 4th round where we come up again at this point.

His brother is a CB on the Seahawks who replaced Sherman pretty adequately late last year....I bet if this kid were put on a JUGS machine he would show he catches the ball much better than one would think considering the hand.

That's what I'm saying regarding safeties and INT. He can catch and has at least an INT as LB. How many times you see DB drop it and say to yourself...thars why he plays D lol

Jenkins only has 16 INT in 9 years...just not a factor imo

Doubtful any prosthetic would hold up to the impact of the NFL game anyway.
