"First off, this will now make the second conference that Texas has been a part and has ultimately end up being disbanded. Second, A lot of people are calling Nebraska cowards, and selfish for leaving. But all Nebraska did was look out for its best interests. Texas, who right now is the biggest money maker, needs to remember that it wasn't always this way. Texas was selfish, and it only cared for its own interests and not the Big 12's. Nebraska is no small potato. They are too a very prestige school, with a very valuable football program. Nebraska will be a great addition to the Big 11. I for one am very glad that it is over, and now Nebraska can move on and join the Big 11. Last thing, for all those that think Nebraska is small potatoes. Answer this then, why is it that Nebraska leaves and it marks the end of the Big 12?"
