I was watching the Echos and seeing who we are losing and the 2 players ND will miss next year is TJ Jones and Shembo on Defense. Shembo was a beast at times. These 2 players will be missed at ND.

Yes Nick Martin will be miss to. He has been one of the best LTs in ND history. Good thing we have some good Olinemen.

I agree on Jones but Tuitt (Not Senior but we could lose) would be my number one loss you see what happen start of the season when he was not 100% and when he was out in Pitt game. Again if we lose him.

I'll go with Nix as the biggest loss, but I will miss TJ Jones.

Yes I know about Tuitt but Im talking about Srs. Tuitt is a beast. If he stayed 1 more year he could be a top 10 pick.

I will miss Nix but it was kind of weird we played better with Nix out, well it looked like that. I just think the D just started to get it when he was gone.

The offense is going to miss TJ Jones the defense will miss Shembo for sure, even if his sack totals weren't as high, other teams were required to put multiple guys on him.

Gotta go with Tommy Rees, a proven winner.

I agree, kid had ice in his veins. He'd throw a pick and it wouldn't faze him. He'd dust himself right off and wouldn't be afraid to throw another one later on.

I kid of course.

I will miss Louis Nix not just for his talent, but his humor as well, I agree with those who say we'll miss TJ Jones' consistency on offense next year. Easily the most reliable receiver we had.

We really missed him in the Stanford game though. He's going to be the senior I miss most.

I will miss Tommy Rees the most. His playmaking ability and sheer athleticism can't be taught. You either have it or you don't. His ability to extend plays , his rocket arm and on top of that his fighting sister to boot.

All kidding aside I wish Tommy Rees the best of luck in all walks of life. Truth be told he overachieved big time and he did do some good things and honestly can be proud. Some may thinking I'm joking but I am not. I sincerely congratulate him on doing the best he could, he hung in there during some pretty hard times and could have easily walked away, persistence is a virtue , that we can't take away from the kid.

Well said. As fans, we decry the mistakes he made, but he carried himself well, took his demotion and changed role on the team like a man, and he'll graduate with a degree from ND. And for as many times as he tossed the game away, he came up big plenty of times too. Wish him well.

I do not like Rees but I will admit he has been a great team player. Its not his fault he didn't have a the skill set. He gave 110% every game. I wish the kid luck in life.

I cant wait for next year with Golson or Zaire.

Rees will probably end up a coach because he just doesn't have it as a player.

It wouldn't shock me if Kelly hires him a coach. He will start out like Bryant Young did. I forgot what they are called.

Wow should we all hug Tommy now? Jusk kidding looking back he did do some good things and be honest the 12-0 would have not been undefeated if he did not come in when we needed him to. I am not saying he was great but he did what he could and made some realllllllllllllllly horrible mistakes at time.
