You think Wisconsin, UF/UVA, and then Duke is a great draw for the #1 overall seed?

Notre Dame should have been a 3 or 4 seed IMO.

Wisconsin sucks post February this year, Villanova should slaughter them

My biggest beefs:
-How is Minnesota a 5? And how is Wisconsin an 8?
-How is Wichita State a 10? Thought they'd be like a 6
-How is Duke theoretically the worst 2 seed?
-Vandy and Florida State both should not have been that highly seeded (minor beef)

Once again people complaining about who got 'screwed". At the top of the list is Illinois State. Apparently they are not considered a Division 1 school by the committee. 26-6 vs Vanderbilt at 19-15, help.
If only Illinois State had played 3 of the teams to which Vanderbilt lost they would have a 26-9 record and been in the tourney. Playing in better conference and losing does not a tourney team make.

Well, the biggest 'screw' was for Oregon.

They had a legit chance to win it all, and I think they would have beaten Arizona if they had Boucher.

Really tough break.

I remember taking Seton Hall + 2.5 for 500x . Game was tied like 5 seconds on clock and if Mich gets a 2 win by the hook. Glen Rice decides he wants to take a 3 and my heart stopped and that shot was in slow motion, My ex-wife knew something was up by the look on my face. Thank god he misssed, Mich grabbed the rebound and got fouled and made both free throws, that 1/2 was a 5250 swing, biggest one game bet ever for me

It did and it seemed like eternity when Rice threw up the 3, I couldn't believe it. Great game and the only reason I took the points was that Seton Hall has that great D with Abdulnaby ( sp?) and PJ Carlismo was their coach, Latrell Spreewell's boy.

Wichita State at 10 was traditional for a midmajor team with that resume - clearly nobody on the committee watched a game though.

Duke was the #6 overall on the S-Curve. Once they couldn't go to Memphis (UNC was the #1 in that bracket, and they couldn't go to the same bracket as their conference mate), they had a choice between Kansas City, MO or New York, NY, and Duke's geographical preference is NYC. As a Duke fan, I'm not particularly afraid of Villanova in NYC. I think we can beat anyone anywhere the way we're playing right now, and our alumni base in NYC is just as strong as Villanova's, if not stronger. Duke is going to be well represented in that regional (assuming we get out of Greenville)

The ACC team I think was too highly seeded isn't FSU - a 3 was right for FSU - but i'm shocked Louisville got a 2.

Seeds are based on resume, bettors bet on talent.

i hope it happens. I think Duke-Villanova has the potential to be an EPIC regional final, right on the level of Duke-Kentucky in 1992 (the classic 1.7 seconds, Christian Laettner game)
