#2 Oklahoma (11-1) Defeated #5 Auburn 40-22 in the Sugar Bowl. Only loss was to Nebraska 31-35.
#3 Colorado (10-2) Defeated #15 Houston (SWC) in the Astro Blue-Bonnet Bowl. Only losses were to Nebraska and Oklahoma. Defeated #9 LSU and #6 Ohio St in the regular season.
