Opinion: SECN should keep prices steady and drive for penetration - more markets, more subs, more saturation. When SECN is ubiquitous and has leveraged every delivery monetization angle, then it can look at raising sub fees.

I cannot wait for the jealous detractrors of some certain other schools to chime in on how the conference network is

Wow, almost $5 billion. Looks like I must be paying 0.25 to have SECN in my house, which is 3 bucks per year. Please enjoy your ill-gotten gains and having a Mississippi Mudpie on me. Of course, you all will have to share it.

Better get him in the Oregon mascot program then.

Start cranking out the pushups.
Maybe by then UO will have a solid e-sports program.

He can straight up slay at cod.

ESPN basically owns cable and college football. The best thing the SEC ever did was get into bed with ESPN

Why, we get 15mil a year from ESPN. Welcome to the team, go disney

Not yet, Texas is only getting the 3% per annum increase.

In 2015, Texas will earn $13,110,694. IMG, as your agent, gets a cut of that too.

At this rate, Texas will finally earn over $15,000,000 in 2020 and that is $15,198,888, minus the IMG cut of course.

ESPN came out the best if this valuation is true.

I am not sure that the SEC did the right thing by giving up ownership if this report is to be believed.

That is a lot of equity to put in Disney's pocket.

The PAC-12 might have the right idea in the long term.

Who cares how much Jexas gets, or any school gets. How about the big story?

Oklahoma is playing a game on PPV this week because no one else wanted/could carry it. I bet if there were a Big12 network it wouldn't cost $55 to watch it.

As cable is slowly dying, its probably best to let espn take the risk, and fight your battles for you and get you on tv. ESPN bullies cable companies, and gets their networks in great spots. I have U-verse, all the espn networks are lined up in the front of the sports section, with NFL, MLB, NBA, Fox sports 1, and Big ten networks all behind them.

it is amazing the money the sec and big10 networks generate because most of what they televise is the mismatches and bottom feeders of the conference schedule for the wk
