Your good then. I'm not of a gambler and wasn't sure how the moneyline worked. Maybe you can explain it for me.

You're just betting on the outcome, no spread. You don't win as much though.

Unless your the underdog right? I'll have to remember that. There has been more then one game where the spread worried me, but I bet anyways, because you got to believe , right?

Yeah underdog pays well. I think this game I only stand to win about a third of what I bet but I'm thinking it might be a close one so I took the conservative route. I meant to put 50 on us with the spread just to liven things up a little but I goofed that one up apparently.

18 of us have bet their vCash on the Seahawks! Not bad, but I know there are some that haven't bet yet. Keep it coming!

I'll have to do it tomorrow. Tried to double up last night on the Pacers over the Hawks and got burned, stupid NBA. Maybe i'll win tonight to put 50 on Seattle tomorrow.

I found a website that explains money lines and point spreads, but I haven't looked at it in-depth yet, so I still have no idea what I'm doing.

Pretty much the spread defines how much a team has to win the game by to win a bet. So for example, the Seahawks are (-8.5), that means that the Seahawks have to win by over 8.5 points to win that bet. New Orleans is (+8.5), that means that Saints can lose but if they lose by 8.5 points or less they win the bet.

Moneyline is just the straight up winner. If you are the favorite then you wont get paid very much for them winning the game. The bigger the favorite, the less the money line will pay out to the favorite. It is opposite for the underdog. Picking the underdog on the money line or straight up to win the game will pay out really well. The bigger the underdog the bigger payout it is for picking them on the moneyline. Of course, the bigger the underdog they are, the riskier it is to pick that team to win.

I hope they helps and makes sense. I typed it up pretty fast. Let me know if have any questions :suds:
