You might be right about Carson, shame is these guys I think could have been real good players that JS found but injury bug reared its ugly head on these guys.

I would really like to see more out of Mckissic. He can hit the corners with that quickness and I would like to see him come out of the backfield more and add another weapon to that passing game. I think he could be more productive if given more chances.
They need to keep the eagle's offense off the field this week so our defense doesn't get worn down. Lacy is solid as a workhorse but he isn't going to move the chains very often. This is where McKissic could be a real asset receiving out of the backfield.

The run game is just bad, period. And I don't see it getting better until the line is A) more talented and B) better coached. Even when we still had Marshawn doing the beastmode stuff, it wasn't due to great blocking schemes. It was largely Lynch making the first one or two guys miss. Short yardage has been a big issue for as long as I can remember. That's always a drive and momentum killer.
I do hope they can find something vs. the Eagles or it will be an ugly night. That front 4 is solid and will get after RW if we can't keep them off balance. And we really need to control the clock big time. Wentz and co. will wear down our D and kill us if we don't.

Updated.
With yesterday's effort, Mike Davis has taken over the top spot in most yards from scrimmage in a game, and tied for the second most touches in a games. Davis has now accumulated 160 yards from scrimmage in just two games. It may be too early to say, but it kinda looks like we have found a back we can feature as the primary back. And he is solid on third downs too.

Top 10 most touches in a game:
21 Carson, week 2, @ SF
20 Lacy, week 12, vs SF
20 Davis, week 13, vs Philly
15 Carson, week 4, vs Indy
13 Carson, week 3, @ Tennessee
12 Rawls, week 7, @ NYG
12 Lacy, week 7, @ NYG
12 McKissic, week 11, vs ATL
12 Rawls, week 10 @ Cardinals

Top 10 most net yards in a game:
101 Davis, week 13, vs Philly
100 Carson, week 2, @SF
70 Lacy, week 11, vs WASH
66 Carson, week 4, vs Indy
61 Lacy, week 12, vs SF
59 Davis, week 11, vs Wash
54 Carson, week 3, @ Tennessee

to be honest i believe the run blocking has improved as of late. Ever since Brown got here it has improved and i expect it to continue to improve. I believe Rawls, Carson and Davis could all average 4 YPC going forward behind this line but i want a RB that can average 5 YPC behind this line, guess i am greedy lol. I think ( My Opinion ) Carson when he comes back will be in the 4.7 range behind this improved Oline so that's close.

Lacy has to go, i thought it was a worthless pick-up to begin with, i would have taken STARKS over Lacy myself lol guess that shows what i think of Lacy.

NO WAY IN HELL should Eddie Lacy have made the team over Collins.

I can run with Davis, Rawls, Carson and McKissic out of the backfield on 3rd downs.

Losing Carson really hurt us in the running game... there's no doubt these numbers would improved with him around. Regardless, absolutely atrocious numbers and the fact that Lacy still got the bulk of the carries pisses me off.
