Schedule Release 2023 Season

I have always wanted the Chiefs week 1 just for something different but not really this year... I don't want the spotlight of playing them the first game which you knew there was ZERO chance they were going to make Broncos/Chiefs the Thursday night opener after the last 7 years we have had but also because I want to play the Chiefs when we have a little more time with Payton around.

Ideally the Chiefs won't be on the season opener next year. I doubt the Broncos will either but let's not forget in the NFL teams can go from zero to hero in a single season. The Bengals went 4-11-1 in 2020 and 10-7 and reached the Super Bowl in 2021. So that is one thing I love about the NFL is any team can be a contender.

We need to go 3-1 to start the season for any chance at a decent season because it gets brutal the middle portion of that schedule.

When you finished 5-12 and set franchise records for how bad your offense was, EVERY stretch of the schedule looks brutal.

While I expect 3-1 start being the 1st year of a new system. We might need time to get going even with Payton we'll see.
