SC State Player Collapses

SC State is at Raleigh today taking on NC State. At about the 13 minute mark of the first half play was suspended when a SC State player(still unidentified) collapsed. His heart apparently stopped since they were doing CPR on him for a good ten minutes. He was rushed out obviously to Rex Hospital in Raleigh so not much else has been released on his condition. The game has been only delayed and the teams decided jointly to continue play.

I pray for this young man.

Update! The kid's name is Solomon and he is responsive and alert at Rex Hospital! I believe it's required at every game to have a defibrillator and someone certified to use it. You guys may know more about that than me. Scary situation because he was down a good 17 minutes or so. Congrats to the first responders and EMS folks for saving this young man's life.
