Wow not a good day. I bet we lose some recruits. I think he is leaving to be HC at western Kentucky. Big loss here

What are you gonna do? He wasn't going to stay forever.

I wonder if he'll replace him or simply hand the reigns to Denbrock.

Actually a new report says he's interviewing, nothing done yet. I hope Jack wakes the fuck up....

That would be terrible news but I suppose if he does leave and he very well could the only saving grace is he'll have head coaching experience when they fire Brian Kelly.

We can take one good thing out of this...

Maybe we can run the damn ball now (and yes I know mostly its Kelly's fault) :P

As a WKU fan (2nd favorite team), is there anything that you guys can tell me about him about what we're getting? I figure that if he continues to run this well like Brohm did, after 2-3 years, he's going to bolt for a P5 school of course just like everyone that comes in does. Thanks. :suds:

Hes young and up and coming. Ran Boise St.'s offense. We brought him in to work with QB's and he was vying for signal calling duties with Denbrock.

I agree, I think WKU is a stopover for him, but he'll be a fine coach, and, given his youth, will probably be there for at least 3 years I'm guessing.

He'll be back at ND as head coach in about 5 years.
