all those Redskins draft picks should help ... only question is how long before teams loses faith in Bradford. Not really fair tho, considering its an unbalanced attack.
Team? Fisher is probably sticking with Bradford for awhile. Fanbase? Not sure.

Cleveland should have traded Richardson out of the conference to the Rams ... they would have gotten a higher draft picks & the Rams sure could use a RB

Indy had the only gm in the league stupid enough to give a 1st rounder for him and the Rams o-line isn't making any holes for their runningbacks, something Trent is very reliant on.

Its funny to watch our efficiency ratings drop every week on Football Outsiders. 10th in week 1, 14th after week 2, 25th after week 3, probably 31st after today and somehow we'll manage to be 35th after next week as they throw in some college teams just for fun.

Looks like we are back on track. I'm glad they stuck with the run tonight and didn't try to force the passing game which has been ineffective.

Don't get all excited skippy, you beat a team that looks as bad as the jags. Congrats.

Yeah, it's not like beating a powerhouse Jags team, I realize. I'm not excited at all. Just glad they stopped trying to make Kaepernick beat anybody. That's not this teams identity. Smash mouth football is what they are built for.

Here is my prediction: Rams fans, no need to send any frustrating PM's to me ok? :suds:

The Rams have had zero run game, so the Niners will simply drop back and force Bradford to dump the ball of all night. That's his favorite thing to do so I'm sure he won't mind. When it does get to 3rd and long, look for Bradford to get that deer in the headlights look and turn the ball over.

Last year the Niners had to respect the run game of SJ and that helped set up the occasional play action deep pass to Givens. But that isn't there this year for the Rams.

On defense, I agree that Fisher knows how to coach against the Niners, but it won't help when his defense is out there all game long after a bunch of short possessions by the offense. This game is just what the doctor ordered for a SF down on their luck the past 2 weeks.

Rams will do their usual thing and put up some late points thanks the prevent defense. But they'll just be more garbage yards and mean nothing. Look for a big game by Gore and Hunter as the Niners re-commit to the run. Game won't be as close as the score indicates.

Niners 27
Rams 20

Just my 2 cents so don't freak out.

Tad generous with the Rams scoring, but otherwise, pretty dead on. Rams need a new QB. Anyone who thinks otherwise at this point does not have the Rams best interest at heart, and that includes the guys running the show down there.

Wtf does that even mean?

It means the Iron Sheik says Kaep is gonna celebrate his W by banging all the pigs in St. Louis tonight. Let's hope he doesn't pull an Aldon.

I'm getting excited. I think the Rams have a chance to pull this off.

Good job Hammer!

By the way, I noticed you couldn't stop talking about me all game long....

Breaker99 isn't butthurt. It just seems that way. And he's not obsessed with Kaepernick. Just seems that way. And even though he has about a dozen posts coming right out and saying it, Breaker99 doesn't really think the 49ers are the only team in the NFL to have injuries. Just seems that way.

See, Breaker99 has a very powerful tool on this side. It's called Denial.

Major game-changer there.

Breaker99 will be here within 5 minutes.

11s At the end of the 1st half, the 49ers attempted a fair-catch kick. The last known made fair-catch kick was in 1976.

The NFL rule on fair-catch kicks:

Rule 10, Section 2, Article 3
PUTTING BALL IN PLAY AFTER FAIR CATCH
Article 4
After a fair catch is made, or is awarded as the result of fair catch interference, the receiving team has the option of putting the ball in play by either:

(a) a fair-catch kick (drop kick or placekick without a tee) from the spot of the catch (or the succeeding spot after enforcement of any applicable penalties) (3-9-1 and 11-4-3), or

(b) a snap from the spot of the catch (or the succeeding spot after enforcement of any applicable penalties).

Note: A receiver may make or be awarded a fair catch in his end zone. If there is fair-catch interference or illegal contact with the receiver after he has made a fair catch, the 15-yard penalty is enforced from the receiver's 20-yard line, and the option for a fair-catch kick is awarded.

Thank you for the clarification.
