... if your assigned play-caller isn't cutting it, take over and make the adjustments.

So, your play-caller is doing fine at half time. An injury to the Chefs best offensive player, a freak pass-catch TD reception from Mariota, and a phantom no-fumble later... exactly when do you think Reid should have taken over calling the plays? Especially after Nagy calling plays had worked so well during the season.

This is total BS and being results oriented. It's not like Kareem Hunt was carving up the defense.

Reid certainly has his flaws, but last week wasn't an indicator of them. His team will probably be better next year returning Berry and Kelce and getting some picks/players for Smith. But hey... same old Reid!

So, he's a bad in-game coach and he's bad at personnel? I guess he's the luckiest coach in the history of coaching to even reach the playoffs? Eagles fans are the worst.

Andy Reid and you have something in common... Head coaching super bowl rings... ZERO

I'm not saying Reid isn't a good coach - we all know he is, and brought a lot of respectability back to the franchise back in the day. That cannot be disputed. What also cannot be disputed is that he is the same stubborn fool who cannot adjust game plans - the same play-caller you speak of had a stretch this season where their offense was so bad, Reid had to assume play-call duties for a game to get life back into the offense... and they still lost because they only ran the ball 11 times total in that game (vs. Jets).

Yup, same old Andy frickin' Reid.

I get a kick out of the way some people ride the fence because they are so afraid to admit he is not as good of a coach as some want to think. You say he is a good coach, but then in the same breath say, it was just time for him to go. Uh, NO! If you have a good coach, you keep on riding with him because good coaches don't grow on trees. I mean, sure, Belichick just won a SB.. but... it's time for him to go, right? Wentz just had an MVP season.. but... it's really time for him to go. No???? LOL

Reid has glaring weaknesses that will never allow him to do that well in the playoffs or win it all. The no 1 issue is that he doesn't learn from his mistakes and adjust to them. Because of that alone, he will never improve. He is a creature of habit. He is a good coach, but not great. He will give you some wins, but never allow you to become great.

This year has shown the huge difference and upgrade it is to have Pederson. Doug continues to show how he adjusts to what he sees as the problem and does something to fix it - whether it is run more, improve personnel, change a gameplan or whatever. And he does it in SHORT ORDER! Not 6 years later.

Reid is argueably one of THE best QB coaches in the NFL. But he is only an average coach. It was time for him to go.. because we want to become better than he could ever take us. Unfortunately, he hung around longer, because he did win with a strong defense he inherited and it took the entire team falling apart to finally produce enough rational to let him go. Thank goodness he is KC's problem now and not ours.
