Rumors-Phillies want Stanton.

Rumors are building that the Phillies would like to trade with the Marlins to get Stanton and Yelich.
By getting both players the outfield situation would be filled. Who the Marlins would want in return
is still up in the air. Maybe Nick Williams and or Cozens. Hoskins could be in the mix too. Anything is
possible at the trade deadline. Also Kendrick is destined to go to an American league team by the deadline.

What? That would be a dopier move than Ruben's Pence trade. Clean out our young hopefuls for guys who are past their impact years?

I was thinking the same thing. Stanton is tied up until he is 37 years old unless he opts out. Plus we have a similar player to Yelich who is moving forward. (the German). Paying another guy 27 million a year in his mid to late 30s
reminds me of the Howard deal.
