I think they'd be better with a real QB instead of a RB at the position.
Especially coming off a torn ACL
Wentz not yet cleared. IMO It would be silly for them to clear him for full contact any time soon:
Carson Wentz facing one more hurdle in return
Just because our QB can run without his knee exploding, doesn't mean he is a RB.
can he run without fumbling the ball?
Yes, noticeably better than your QB.
Dak Prescott career fumbles - 3
Wentz career fumbles - 9
I know you guys hate to compare Wentz's and Dak's stats but that is "Sanchez like"
Dak fumbles (as a rusher) + Zeke's fumbles = Wentz fumbles as a rusher.
sorry bad argument. I had forgotten the Wentz fumbles too.
Still, we have a ring.
Yeah, quite a few of us are interested in his angle here.
I'd say that he "used to fumble" as a rusher, but that it won't be an issue anymore.
But he has more fumbles as a passer as well.
I fucked up. I was pooping when I posted that and didn't do my due diligence on my research.
I hear Dak bought a replica ring from the '95 SB win.
So he has one as well, and did as much for the team in the playoffs as Carson did.
Carson was on the sidelines. You don't think he was there helping the entire time?
What Carson Wentz is doing to help the Eagles during their playoff run
As much as any other fan cheering the players on.
Can you really claim a SB victory if you have never played in even a single playoff game?
Except that Dak's great season he leaned massively on Elliot and a road-grading O-line. Dak was never the center of the offense (just as Foles was not when Wentz went out).
And Foles himself, when he got going, played out of his mind (overall for playoffs some of the best numbers of all time). The difference between the Eagles being one-and-done and the Eagles winning it all was Foles just exploding from the start of the 2nd half against Atlanta onwards. With Foles at QB for a whole season, the Eagles would never have gotten to the Super Bowl, as they would never have gotten home field advantage (which IMHO was crucial).
yes, you can.
