Didn't Williams have plantar fasciitis?

The COWBOYS (Jones) blew a 1st, 3rd, and 6th round draft pick on Williams and then drafted Dez in the draft.
Another brilliant Jerry Jones idea........... 54 million.......26 million guaranteed

And it seemed Roy Williams couldn't get open.......sounds familiar...

Now you have gone and done it. I watched some highlights of roy and I was in awe of how Tony would escape pressure and shake off would be sackers. Dak has some shoes to fill.

As to the Roy: I was a bit giddy to see him because I saw what he could do while in detroit. On the sidelines he could stretch and catch that thing 10 yards out of bounds. Just never saw that production with the Boys.

I was excited to see William's in Dallas too, but was screaming real loud to wait until Free Agency. That trade was completely boneheaded.

The Galloway trade was probably worse.

I remember Williams making a catch ,running 50 yards, and then fumbling in the red zone. Really a choke job on that play

Don't worry, The Lions did not do anything of value with those picks. We used the 1st on a blocking TE. The 3rd round pick was a wr who ended his career with 9 catches for 82 yards.

Romo loved him some Wit and Austin. The coaches loved them some Dez. I remember Dez's first game. They threw 7 smoke screens to him. Just not enough balls to go around.

Wasn't just a hindsight thought by many of the fans.

Agreed. Jerry wanted a big time receiver for Troy. Joey was not that guy. What we gave up to get him was fucking stupid. Same with Roy Williams. Helped put the franchise in cap hell as well as draft hell. Add that to JJ taking crappy #1s and#2s and you have many years of pulling your hair out.

Hmm, a Mack Brown product who doesn't live up to the hype in the NFL. Who could have guessed that was gonna happen.

He was dominant for a while...then he came to Dallas...

That's true. Seems like everyone from Mack's drafts (over generalizing I know) was like that though. Lots of success in college, a good year or maybe two in the NFL, then loss of desire to play and just wanting to get back to Austin.
