My early guess is they IR him this season. Sounds like they really like the UDFA they got so can have him be QB 3 or have him on the PS and call him up if needed. Give Kelly a chance to sit and learn and heal up then see what he can bring to the team in 2018.

Good to stash him, but makes me sad because he can't practice at all if we IR him.

Can't he be a part of like the QB's room though studying film and all team meetings?

If not then yeah I wouldn't be too happy about that and would say worth having him on the team even if he is a bit behind the others since he won't be able to practice until late.

Might be worth the risk then as I do think we can have the 4 QB's stick aroudn with the Northern Colorado kid going on the PS

Couldn't remember the spelling and was too lazy to look it up so that is why I typed QB from Northern Colorado. I do love Sloter's story though. Crazy how he got to this point.

What I am impressed with Kelly is he anticipates the throws very well and anticipation is a corner stone of the NFL. Timing and ball placement is what I love about Kelly.

Philip Rivers is a pie thrower who has maybe the best timing and anticipation in the NFL.

Read last week that Elway said thumb injury more than wrist on his throwing hand; not sure if that's better or worse if true.

Why didn't kubiak play lynch in the last game. I think Denver was up 24-7.
If was a direct FU to elway through his boy lynch and at what point last year did lynch light it up from anywhere.

CEH come on man lighten up . College he has some throws running for his life that looked pretty crazy in small windows .

Lynch did what won a SB the year before as did Trevor . Both can play way different than we seen .
