Fed has been on his game in this tourney. Raonic's big serve gives him a puncher's chance, but I think it plays into Fed's all around game.

Fed in 4 sets

Raonic is in trouble. He needs this match in 4 and all of the sets that he wins need to be in a tiebreaker

LoyallyLethal, Fed needs to win in as short of a match as possible, otherwise he may be toast against Djokovic who himself is somewhat drained from the last two matches but is younger.

Yes. As Federer himself said before the start of Wimbledon he is playing as good as anyone and has a very high chance of lifting the trophy. He may be right. But I am saying Novak is as steady they come.

Did Raonic even have a break point opportunity yet? His return game is so poor today

If you aren't gonna be able to get into return games, you have to have a ton of mental toughness to avoid a letdown on you service games. It didn't happen today. Milos pretty much handed Fed a break in each set, and that was all he needed.

nice to see fed win.

raonic has a great serve, but needs a lot of work in every other part of his game. he's not good at net, and can't back up that serve from the baseline against top 5 opponents. i think the low bounce on the grass is actually harder for him, and expect him to do just as well at the US Open eventually.

i really like nole in the final. nobody has had a good enough game off the ground to bother fed's backhand yet, but nole can definitely break it down.

i'd love to see fed win, though. i just don't think it's possible for him to win another major off of grass, and holding the record (8) for wimbledon titles would be wonderful.

FED did seem to serve down the middle a little more this match, than I remembered in earlier matches this tourney.
