Getting the giants this early in the season may just be the right time to catch them. Unlike last year when the Lions had Stafford at less than 100%, this year the Lions look healthy and the opponent has their best receiver on the mend and looking for his first game action. Karma? Maybe, but when the schedule goes from a most difficult start (I seem to remember a number of 0-4, 1-3 predictions) to manageable, this team can take advantage of the momentum a week one win can bring. And if that momentum translate to a road win in week two, 2017 becomes much more interesting.

I had this as a loss initially but if OBJ is not 100%, the Lions will probably win this game. That could mean a 3-3 start instead of 2-4 or even 1-5. Probably got 2 losses after that too.

Still there is a chance for 6-2 or even 7-1 in the second half of the season.

The Giants O-line was more of an issue for them last week than missing OBJ. If they don't get that fixed they're in for a long season.

OBJ. No OBJ. It makes no difference. The Lions will make mincemeat out of the Giants.

Even if I could argue with that, I wouldn't want to. Of course, both Fog and I have the Lions going 12-4 this year.
