I think we all should be grateful for his on the field and even practice effort while he was here, but his mouth just won't stop and I'm pretty much over it. I root for most guys after they leave, but with this one I hope to see Doug Baldwin do the same thing Goodwin did to ol' Sherm and his diarrhea yapper.

I have to totally re-evaluate how I feel about the Hawks. For years I couldn't stand them, and that was because of Richard Sherman and a really bad guy in Michael Bennett. Now that they are gone I have no reason to hate, and I can openly root for Russell Wilson who I really like.

I am in the same boat, I will always remember the good over the bad. That being said, I'm glad he's off the team. Maybe he'll realize the grass was greener at the Clink.

Looks like he has not recovered from his injury, sad to see.

Well, he did pass his physical before camp started. I don't think the 9ers would have cleared him since they owed him $2 million if he passed. I'll equate this to needing to get back into game shape. I think Edgar Martinez could have outrun him on that play though......

Looks like Ole Rich has lost a step in his old age.

Line up Lockett the Rockett against him when we play next

Goodwin is exactly the type of guy who Sherm has always struggled with. Small shifty guys with tons of speed weren't his best match up (see TY Hilton). He always excelled guarding the big physical WRs like Dez, Thomas, Green, Calvin Johnson, etc.

That said, it's totally possible he's lost a step after the Achilles injury.

Still like the guy though, not really rooting against him outside of the two games against Seattle.

Don't be a Seahawk fan, because then I'd have to abandon them!

:)

How's the dogs old man?

And we'll be 'glad' he's off the team until the first game where it's obvious we no longer have a true shutdown corner on one side.

Griffin COULD be that guy, but have to wait and see.

LOL good to see you. The old one that bit the roofer is gone, we're down to the one in my sig and that's enough dog for me.

In fairness, the Hawks cut him and didn't offer to renegotiate his deal. Not like he forced his way off the team.

We didn't have that last year either when Sherman was playing... He definitely was on a decline prior to his injury...

He was still one of the 5 best corners in football last year prior to his injury.

I doubt he'll ever come close to that again after the injury though.
