...or a senior leader tryin to keep confidence in his team.

You won the game, and you are STILL looking for bulletin board material?

Take it from a fan who is used to winning, a win is over on Sunday morning, and the team you beat should be forgotten. I know this is somewhat new for you, but try and act like you have been there.

*makes dismissive wanking motion*

Anyway, as for the rest of the season:

BC - W 6-0

@Maryland - W 7-0

UNC - W 8-0, This will be a very tough game, but I think Clemson comes out on top.

@GT - L 8-1, It will be a high scoring game, but Clemson won't be able to stop their offense. GT by 10

WF - W 9-1

@NCST - W 10-1

@USC - L 10-2

I think I could live with a 10 and 2 season, especially after going 6-7.

I wish I were as confident. Too much football to be played yet. We aren't very deep on D, well for that matter, we aren't too deep anywhere. Season's are long and hard and take their toll on players. Staying healthy is the key right now. The coaching is a vast improvement over years past. They are preparing well and adjusting during the game better than they ever have. Confidence and moral are sky high. Everything is falling into place. So staying healthy, keeping every cog on the gear in good shape, is absolutely paramount to possibly having the best season we've had in 20-25 years. GO TIGERS!!!!!

I'm more excited and hopeful than confident. I do think we've put the days of playing without heart and leadership behind us.

I think your predictions are very reasonable. Until we prove otherwise, I am still fearful that this team will stumble along the way. The games @ GT, vs. UNC, and @ SCar still present the biggest challenge, but outside of the game in Atlanta we should be favored the rest of the way. The question is now can we handle success? It's been relatively easy to get up for the past three games, as all three teams were ranked at game time; however, Clemson has been notorious for playing down to their competition after winning games we weren't "supposed" to. It will be extremely disappointing at this point if we don't win ten games before post-season play, but the guys need to stay focused and take it one game at a time.

Edit: Hokies, I understand the frustration, but when you come over here dropping quotes about "being the better team" you'll have to forgive us for taking it a little personally. I for one hope we get another shot at playing ya'll, because it means we didn't stumble down the stretch and get another shot at a championship. Good luck the rest of the season.

If Boyd is done for the season:

@Maryland - W 7-0

UNC - L 7-1

@GT - L 7-2

WF - L 7-3

@NCST - W 8-3

@USC - L 8-4

Come on man, it's not all that. We may still lose 4 with Boyd, but we can certainly win games with Stoudt. He has yet to prove whether or not he can run this offense. Anyway, Boyds injury doesn't look to be as serious as was first thought. Hip strain.

Hey are you two, Spruce and Ballboy, interested in getting a banner for our team page? I just sent "category5o" a message to see if he would create one for us. What would we want on it? The Paw, Death Valley, Tillman Hall, Pic of Dabo, The Tiger mascot, The team at the top of the hill, ACC, The Rock, etc, etc .....?

A hip strain may very well keep him out a few weeks. Maryland stayed with GT, I'm thinking they might stay with us even with Boyd. Playing UNC with a backup qb...

Sure. Gotta have the Paw. Maybe have the team at the top of the Hill or rubbing the Rock.

Here's a couple good action shots to consider!

I think a banner is a great idea fellas; I would like to see the Paw, the team rubbing Howard's Rock, a picture of our graveyard, and perhaps the background could be a picture of the Blue Ridge Mountains as seen from Clemson House:
