Brady "retired" to try and get himself somewhere else. That I have no doubt of. Whether it was Miami or SF, it will probably always be a mystery that he will keep hidden.

You dont retire and then 5 weeks later decide to un-retire in the NFL. That was leverage move. And Tampa called his bluff.

Bill and Flores have worked together for many years and have great respect for each other.
What if Flores was angry about Ross trying to get him to recruit Brady illegally? (He was angry)
What if he talked to his old friend Bill and told him what was going on?
I'm thinking that Bill and Flores hatched a plan to "accidentally" tell Flores about not getting the job and thereby help Flores get a basis for the lawsuit.
Turns out this plan was to prevent Ross from getting Payton to coach and Brady to play in Miami, making another problem for the Patriots?
It worked!
