Now why can't the media talk about this? Instead, we have to hear about how some pheg from MIZZOU is a hero for coming out of the closet. Excellent article :suds:

The first thing that came to my memory before the three reasons he didn't make it in the NFL was Robert Smith retiring early from the Vikings. Smith was also super smart and involved in the medical field.

Awesome article. I remember watching him at Florida State, and then wondering why the hell he dropped to the 6th round. At least he's a smart guy and he can recover from the stupidity that the NFL graced him with.

Will never forget the game against Maryland that he had to miss the 1st half due to his Rhodes Scholar interview. They got a private jet for him to fly in and he played the 2nd half. The guy was going to be a success whether he played in the NFL or not. He has a really good foundation called the Myron L Rolle foundation which is for families and children in need.

It is a shame that the NFL and team GMs bailed on him because he was getting his Masters over in Oxford. They felt that he was not fully committed to football because he did want to further his education. Dude was a hammer when making tackles. He could have been a damn good NFL player.

While Myron will be making serious bank when he's in his mid 30's to early 40's, 75% of these NFL players will be broke as a joke and filing bankruptcy. Myron has the last laugh fo sho.....
