Reggie Bush at Gillette

Reggie Bush spent pretty much half of Friday (3/13) at Gillette Stadium meeting with Bill Belichick and member of the Patriots coaching staff. It was pretty much assumed he would resign with the New Orleans Saints but it was reported that it was not a warm homecoming and Bush has set his sights on the Patriots.

I woke up at 2:20 AM this morning (had to go pee) and decided to turn on the TV. They were reporting on NESN that Bush stayed in Boston last night and plans to make a second trip to Gillette today.

I'm sure BB wanted him. 9ers just paid more. As usual.....Bush will be watching the playoffs instead of taking part.

I do think bush would've been a huge upgrade over vereen,but the pats are going to have to save as much $$ as they can because they dont have anybody to cover opposing recievers

Doesn't really matter. Throwing a cheap bid in at an auction doesn't mean anything - only the winning bid.
Whether NE offered cheap or not enough is semantics.
NE looks at a lot of players as a good signing if they can be had cheap as a backup.
Bush likely sees himself as a starter on many teams.....
He got the money at SF. Both NE and Bush played it correctly.....

Exactly, no impulsive shopping, Pats like to kick the tires and take it for a test drive before showing the money ...

Bush may have wanted one thing and the Patriots another. Maybe Bush only wanted one year and the Patriots wanted two or visa versa......No one has written anything more than Bush has agreed with the 9ers. Nothing about the Patriots not paying or anything else...........
